The Advertising Foundation of the Philippines Reveals This Year’s ARAW Values Awardees — Leo Burnett Manila Tops the List

The Advertising Foundation of the Philippines (Ad Foundation) supports the renewal of the Congressional Franchise of ABS-CBN Corporation. As the advocacy arm of the multi-sector advertising and marketing communications industry, the Ad Foundation aims to harness the influence of advertising to promote and assist inculcate positive social values that contribute to nation-building.

Our commitment to positive social values and nation-building is embodied in our foundation's biennial ARAW Values Awards, the most recent of which was held last January 30, 2020. ABS-CBN has been the partner of our industry and the Ad Foundation in staging the ARAW Values Awards since 2000, airing the Awards Night on its free nationwide over Chanel 2, as well as over its other outlets including The Filipino Channel (TFC) reaching millions of Filipinos all over the world ---- a testament to the network's commitment to bringing positive social change.

We recognize that both houses of Congress have enacted into law a number of bills calling for the renewal of franchises of several broadcast companies. We pray that all the other pending bills, including that of ABS-CBN, be acted upon soonest so that ABS-CBN can continue to be an invaluable partner and advocate in building a brighter future for every Filipino.

Advertising Foundation of the Philippines, the social development institution and advocacy body of the multisector Philippine advertising and marketing communications industry, recently signed an agreement with Punongbayan & Araullo Grant Thornton for the latter to be the independent auditing firm of the ARAW Values Advertising Awards, now on its 11th season. At the same time, PA Grant Thornton will also be the independent auditing firm of the 2019 ARAW Values Technical Awards, on pilot and being implemented for the first time, to duly recognize and honor the technical expertise behind the values oriented Branded and/or Advocacy Communications in various media forms.
