Implementation of the ARAW Values Advertising Awards on a biennial basis, initially scheduled for 2018 for its 11th season, was postponed to 2019 by the 11th ARAW Values Awards Organizing Committee, chaired once more by Blen Fernando.
The postponement was due to several special events in the multi sector industry and the country, notably the Philippine hosting of the Southeast Asian Games.
Additional studies were conducted to create an ARAW Values Awards program that is more inclusive and responsive to the evolving landscape and needs of the times.
Preparations for the ARAW Values Advertising Awards began in early 2019.
The ARAW Awards schedule for a November 2019 culmination was further postponed to late January 2020, with a delayed telecast in mid- or late February 2020.
This change was due to industry demands for an extension of the competition entries' submission deadline to early November, the SEA Games hosting schedule from mid-November to early December, and the long Christmas holiday season in the country.
Postponing the 11th ARAW Values Advertising Awards became an opportunity for innovation.
